Here we have an Approx. 140 - Year Old Antique #6 Cast Iron Handled Griddle With Re-Inforcing Ring on the bottom and a Stand.  Handled griddles of any kind or condition, that are 100 Plus Years Old are hard to find, but those that are Unique, are especially Hard To Find and Very Sought After For Display and to use.  This griddle is a great find for anyone looking for an Excellent Antique Collector Piece to display and use. 

 

This griddle is heavily pitted and has a crack about 1 1/2" long by the handle for that very primitive look and a touch of Authenticity.  I am sure the stand is much newer and was not made for this griddle, but it fits perfectly inside the re-inforcing ring of the griddle and gives it a wonderful raised look.   You couldn't ask for a nicer Antique Cast Iron Stand to display a candle or what ever your imagination can come up with.  This griddle and stand will make a Wonderful Antique Display and Conversation Piece for The Kitchen, Home or Office.  Circa:  Approx. 1870
