"Very Old #2 Food - Meat Chopper By Griswold Manufacturing Company Erie, PA.  As you can see from the photographs, this piece has seen a lot of use by the worn tin plating. The original wood handle is in excellent condition, which is remarkable for an item 105 years old.  This chopper comes with one blade in it for chopping and the washer that screws up under the counter is missing.  Way back when, you just didn't run down to the corner grocery store to buy some hamburger or chopped nuts, you made your own.  This will make a great conversation piece and a wonderful addition to your cast iron or chopper collection or to use.  Circa: 1905
