This Shawnee Rare Gold Trim Blue Neckerchief Smiley Cookie Jar has several wonderful Hand Painted Rust Color Flowers With Green Leaves All Over His  Overalls.  He Also has Hand Painted Flowers in the creases of his arms and a large Hand Painted Flower on his Blue Neckerchief.  Smiley has gold buttons, Overall cuffs, his name in script and a partial label.  It's really hard to find any Shawnee Smiley Cookie Jars with hand painted flowers but this Smiley has the hand painted flowers on the overalls and neckerchief, a rare find indeed.  Smiley is in great condition with no chips or hairline cracks.  He does have a little spot behind his left arm towards the rim, where it looks like he's missing some glaze, but that can't be seen with the lid on.  Also, he's has a few areas on his bib where the glaze is missing.  Smiley is marked USA on the bottom of the jar.  I guarantee that this is an original Gold Trim Shawnee Smiley Cookie jar and not a reproduction.  If you have been looking for a rare and unique Shawnee Gold Trim Smiley then this would be the perfect jar to add to your collection.
