I have listed for your consideration a Beautiful Shawnee Gold Trim Lucky Elephant Cookie Jar.  Lucky has gold on his bow tie, gold trim on his ears, tusks and two upper front feet.  The gold is in great condition except for the two front feet where it does show wear.  He has a gold decal with his name "Lucky" on his chest.  This Shawnee Gold Trim Lucky Elephant Cookie Jar has beautiful hand painted floral decorations all over his back and sides.  This Lucky Cookie Jar also has floral decals on his front and a original partial Painter's Palette Label.  Lucky has a small nick on the top right hand side of his trunk that could possibly be from the factory.  He also has an approximately 1 3/4" chip on his left bottom foot.  You probably wouldn't even notice it sitting on a shelf if you didn't know it was there.  This Gold Trim Lucky has factory raised bumps on the inside bottom of jar that are glazed over and does not effect the integrity of the jar in any way.  He also has a rough glaze area on the underneath side of his raised left foot.  This Shawnee Lucky Cookie Jar stands approximately 11 3/4" tall and is marked USA on the bottom of the jar.  Shawnee Cookie Jars with Hand Painted Decorations are extremely hard to find and are highly sought after by collectors.  A jar similar to this one is pictured in the Pam Curran's Book one page 60, bottom roll, center picture.  I guarantee this jar to be an original Shawnee Gold Trim Lucky Elephant Cookie Jar and not a reproduction.  Yes, Lucky does have some problems but he is still gorgeous, loveable, and displays nicely.  The Shawnee Gold Trim Lucky Elephant Cookie Jars are not an easy jar to find, especially with all the beautiful hand painted decorations, and is sought after by the most advanced collectors.
