Van Tellingen Salt & Pepper Shakers 

These"VAN TELLINGEN SNUGGLE-HUG DUTCH BOY AND GIRL Salt and Pepper Shakers" are in "Good Condition" with no cracks but the dutch girl does have a very small nick on her left ear.  These snuggle-hug shakers are absolutely adorable.  They are marked Van Tellingen #402.  They were designed by Ruth Van Tellingen Bendel and produced by the Regal China Company.  The snuggle-hugs fit together in a hugging position and could be picked up together without a chance of dropping them.  The holes are on the same side so that both salt and pepper could be dispensed at the same time using only one hand.  The bottoms are so well balanced that it is almost impossible to knock them over.
