This "Carved Wood Letter Opener with metal wire necklace is in Great Condition and is Very Old".  This vintage letter opener looks like Walnut wood, but I think it is something different, but is a very hard wood. I have had this since I was about ten years old, so that would make this "About 55 Years Old ". This has opened a lot of envelopes and yet is in great condition and ready for many more years of use. This would be a great novelty to own or would make a great gift.
