Wagner #6 Smooth Bottom Skillet #1056 J With Glass Lid With Drip Ring "Very Nice"

This is a Very Nice Wagner #6 Smooth Bottom Skillet #1056 J with an Unmarked Wagner Glass Lid Marked Only C6 Made In USA. This wonderful glass lid comes with the Original True Value Hardware Price Tag on the knob and has a drip ring inside.  The skillet does have the normal utensil marks inside from use and a very slight high center on the bottom, which is so very common for this series of smooth bottom skillets, so I would not recommend for a glass top stove; for all others it is excellent.  Not often do you find an Unused Skillet Lid, that is 50-60 Years Old, but to find one With The Original Paper Price Tag on it is a Great Find and a Beautiful Addition To Any Collection. A Wonderful cookware set for those that want to cook with cast iron and keep an eye on their meal without having to remove the lid.  Circa: Skillet: 1935-1959 Lid: 1950s
