This set is very smooth inside and out, with just a few utensil marks, which is to be expected for 70 years of use. The top skillet still has all the factory polishing marks and sits flat with no wobble, the bottom skillet does have a very slight wobble, which is common on smooth bottom skillets and Both Skillets Do Not Have Any Chips, Cracks, Repairs or Pitting.
When the two skillets are put together, you have a Hinged Dutch Oven that you don't have to remove the lid to stir your meal, just hinge it up out of the way and it stays in place with the condensation running back into the bottom skillet and not all over your stove or counter.
